ask she had the answers Gregg & Julie Gorton wrote I contacted Living-Cyprus through the internet along with two other companies with regard to finding us suitable property to look at and possibly buy (we didn't think we would get something on our first visit to cyprus, how wrong we were) I flew out on Wednesday 31st March 04 and arranged to meet Anna on Thursday 1st April at 10:00am outside our hotel. No problem as Anna was twenty minutes early and knew all our details and budget. The day was fantastic and went far too quickly, the houses and plots I was shown were all different from each other and gave me a good idea as to what I was and wasn't looking for. All my questions were answered straight away but the best feeling was that there was 'no pressure placed on me at all'. I was driven back to my hotel by Anna and arrived at about 5:00pm. Anna gave me her card and told me to call if I had any questions. The next day I met another company, it was a disaster, they turned up late' had to stop for petrol as the car was 'bone dry' and showed me only one plot in the centre of Limassol. I was back in the hotel by lunchtime, by this time my mind was made up that I wanted a house in Orokolini where Anna had taken us and which builder I wanted to use. I cancelled my third appointment with the other company and rang Anna to explain what I wanted. Anna took me back to Orokolini on the Saturday (which was her day off) and I met up with the builder (Kyriacos) who showed me some new plans he had just received and also took me round to a similar complex which was being built so that I could get an idea of the size, etc. It was perfect, location, size, and the price too good to go away and think about! I wanted it. A deal was agreed and on the Monday Anna took us to the lawyers (Areti) and the Bank and everything fell into place. We have been kept updated regularly by our lawyer and also our financial advisor in Nicosia (MOSAIC). Everything is done for you. Our builder Kyriacos is a star and will do anything for you, his hospitality is second to none and best of all he is a MANCHESTER UTD FAN. (I got him a shirt with his name on.) We have met knew friends in the village already on our last visit, Gordon & Maureen Mackay who have bought in the same complex and also John Munro who lives opposite and is very helpful. We are looking forward to moving into our new house at the beginning of July and starting a new life in such a beautiful and friendly country Cyprus . everything tied up with the lawyer within a day and half and so
far it has been a very enjoyable experience and we would recommend

As I arrived during a bank holiday week I was really only left with 4 days to find and arrange purchase of a property and seriously doubted that this could be achieved. She had already made appointments with developers, who showed me only the type of property I was interested in, within my budget, therefore avoiding wasting time. At the end of the day I had three suitable properties, the only problem being choosing between them! The valuable work of Living Cyprus has been completely free to us as clients and, furthermore, on our return to the UK after 1 week, they have introduced us to a London Money Broker who ensures we obtain the best exchange rate for each tranche of funds sent to meet the stage payments on our house. We were met at the Airport in the early hours of the morning and taken to the Apartment that was reserved for us by Chris. The Apartment was fine for our purpose, particularly as we were set to be out and about all day, every day. Chris arrived and took us to the Paphos area where for the rest of the day and the whole of the following day he, and Anna, introduced, and accompanied, us around property and sites associated with 3 local builders. We were looking to find a site and arrange to have a Villa built over the next 18 months. We were shown some good sites but were not able to be shown examples of completed Villas that we liked. This surprised me as I expected to see lots of gorgeous Villas but find all the best sites already occupied. At the end of day 2, we had seen 1 reasonable Villa with promise from their architect to modify the plans over the weekend for inspection on Monday. The plot available for this Villa was very steep and would have had lots of steps up to the entrance. On Saturday we embarked with another Agent we had booked and were taken to see the Leptos development at Kamares Village. Apparently Chris had contacted Leptos to take us but the other Agent had already booked our names in with them. We were very impressed with Leptos - the build quality was much better than what we had seen and the style of the Villas was in line with our thoughts. The Sales manager promised to come up with some plans to meet our requirements by the Monday afternoon and when we saw these we had a deal. The visit Saturday afternoon to Aristo builders was not successful in terms of plots or properties particularly after seeing the Leptos range. We were sorry that the purchase was not completed through Chris. Had he got in first and booked for us to visit Leptos then he would have got the business. We got on so well with them both that we intend to keep in touch and hope to meet up with them on our next visit in October. I was advised by a colleague to visit Living-Cyprus.com, just twenty-four hours before we were due to fly. Lecou Linda Reynolds wrote After research and checking this site over a period of 4 months, we visited Paphos in May and managed to buy a relatively new resale - these are rare and I spent 4 days solid visiting developments and some very poor old properties. An associate of Living Cyprus called Chris (Akis) from Limassol assisted by doing the legwork and finding suitable properties. All the developers were able to offer properties newly built in the next 12-18 months. However this meant buying from plans and trusting your developer, as you would in the UK. Cyprus and Paphos particularly appears to have potential buyers outstripping the available properties and prices appear to be rising. I checked the local press and drove around Paphos. Obviously properties go up for sale daily and like wise sell. The only way is to come to Cyprus and visit as many agents and developers. Many agents appear to advertise the same properties or properties which sold 5 years ago! We used Chris to assist us find a property in May - he was very polite, courteous and professional and managed to remind me of my original housing request and not get carried away in to thinking I would not obtain a property. Please note he cannot magic up properties into thin air with in your price range! But he'll ensure you see properties suitable to your needs - if they are available.
